Kaenon
created the next generation of polarized technology.
By combining Kaenon's proprietary Glare 86® polarizing
element with Kaenon's specifically designed lens tints,
they can control the amount of visible light that
is transmitted to your eye. They call this Light Transmission
Control or LTC. That name may be a bit obvious.
The methods used to create the technology were anything
but. The integral active component of this new concept
is Light Transmission Level™ (LTL®). They
created a proprietary LTL lens rating system that
tells you the precise amount of visible light that
each individual Kaenon Polarized lens transmits
to your eye. Example:
Kaenon's LTL 12™ lens is a dark lens that allows
only 12% of visible light to enter your eye. Kaenon's
LTL 28™ lens is lighter, and transmits 28%
of visible light. Meaning that while mankind cannot
yet control the weather, you can control the amount
of sunlight that enters your eye.
By
choosing a Kaenon Polarized lens with a particular
LTL rating and one of Kaenon's advanced purpose-built
lens tints, you’ll maximize optical performance
in any light condition - like golfers using different
clubs to play different shots. The result is superior
optical acuity including sharper detail definition
and contrast, accurate depth perception, true
color recognition, and reduced eye fatigue.
