Underground's newest board design evolved by accident, but has already become a favourite addition to the quivers of many of their team riders. Essentially a shortened and widened wave tray design, the Underground SWT delivers all that you would expect from a board this size. It has blistering pace, extremely low swing weight in the air, and due to the back foot's position so close to the tail - insane carving and pop potential - perfect for freestyle on super smooth water.
More surprising is the amazing bottom end power of this board, a function of its width and increased tail area. Pro riders are finding the decreased lateral resistance from just 110 or 120cm's of board is still manageable even in cranking winds and they are able to kite more powered up while maintaining control. Ideal conditions for the SWT are flat water but some of our riders now rate this as their #1 stick for all terrain including waves.
We're having a whole lot of fun with the Underground SWT, especially in board-off jumps and recommend it as a novelty board for serious kiteboarders or flat water specialists.
The Underground SWT comes in two sizes; a 110 for smaller riders and a 120 for medium to large. It comes complete with dual density footpads, footstraps, grab handle, stainless hardware, grab handle and G10 fins.
