Simply the cleanest and highest performance 5th line system on the market! Oneline features all of the safety benefits of a 5th line system and added breakthrough performance features that enhances overall power, depower, and control of the kite. With the Oneline Control Kit the rider can adjust and lock the ‘angle of attack' of the kite by controlling the tension on the LE. The Oneline Control Kit is attached to the center of the leading edge and has the ability to change the performance by pulling tension into the Oneline.
Safety- Once connected to the safety leash, the rider can let go of the bar at any time. This will cause the Oneline to engage and immediately kill the power to the kite until the rider is ready to re launch. Oneline is routed cleanly through the center of the bar and is connected to the pump leash at the center of the leading edge. When the rider lets go of the bar, flying lines and steering lines disengage, leaving tension on the Oneline only. This immediately flips the kite into an un powered position allowing the kite to fall safely to the water. Re launching has never been easier!
Oneline tension can be controlled by the rider from the locking trim handle. Pulling the trim handle engages the Oneline which pulls the center of the kite in and opens the entire profile of the kite.
When trimmed out (little or no tension in Oneline), it provides low end grunt to get going, turns faster, and the kite shape increases lift.
When trimmed in (moderate tension, and the Oneline rope is cleated), it provides better upwind performance, the kite flies faster and further forward in the window. When the Oneline is not engaged (trimmed out), sheeting performs as it would on a stock 4-line kite.
