KiteXPO
2004 - Pismo Beach, California
From April 2-4,
2004, Kitesurfari participated in the 2nd Annual KiteXPO
at Pismo Beach. It was a weekend were kiteboarders can
get together to see and test new gear, talk to product
reps, and hang with pros. This year's show attracted over
200 participants. Athough the winds were unfortunately
light, it was another successful event.
Kevin Delaney, Todd Greaux, and Kent Marinkovic, were
on hand demonstrating Cabrinha's new innovations like
the RECON safety and relaunch system and the Powerlock
Bar. Kent even setup a handle pass simulator for those
wanting to practice their tricks.
There was a raffle on Saturday afternoon and lots of great
prizes were won including t-shirts, calendars, trainers,
and even a kite! A beach BBQ and bonfire followed after
sunset. The specialty was Kinsley's famous wild boar!
All in all, not much for wind, but a big thanks go out
to Kinsley Wong from XtremBigAir.com for putting on a
great show! We will definitely be back next year!
